Erik Ward

Erik Ward is an innovator and growth driver who leads the Health Segment at Task Force Tips where his team is committed to improving the health and safety of first responders. His focus on aligning strategy, process, and execution enhances organizational growth, and delivers value across multiple areas—not just through products, but by creating value and efficiency throughout the business in service of its customers.

Erik joined the Madison group of companies as Director of Innovation at Purafil where he focused on product line simplification, quality systems, and new revenue streams. Prior to joining Purafil, Erik was an innovation leader at UL where his team addressed some of the most complex new market entry challenges. Prior to UL, Erik built a product and engineering team which supported General Dynamics Land Systems – Canada on the biggest contract win in the company’s history. Before holding leadership and innovation roles at several other companies, Erik served as a Green Beret in the US Army. He credits the Special Operations community with instilling a focus on finding simple solutions to complex problems.

Erik grew up in Detroit Michigan, graduated from Anderson University in South Carolina, and resides in the Chicagoland area with his wife Julie and their four children.
